Annual NRA meeting in Texas canceled due to COVID-19 concerns
- On August 24, The National Rifle Association announced that they canceled their annual meeting which had been set to be held on September 3, in Houston de to COVID-19
- The meeting would have gone for 2 days from September 3rd to 5th where thousands would have attended

NASGW Expo COVID-19 update for 2021
- Despite the NRA’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits cancellation in mid-August, NASGW still has plans to move forward with their expo
- Even with rising cases of COVID-19, the NASGW expo will hold a smaller, member-only group event which will allow them to follow safety standards and precautions much better than the NRA
- The Expo will be from Wednesday, October 27, 2021 to Friday, October 29, 2021
Sig Sauer sued by detective after her holstered P320 handgun almost killed her
- Detective Brittney Hilton is suing gun designer and manufacturer Sig Sauer after her holstered P320 handgun fired without the trigger being pulled
- In the $15 million lawsuit, it said, “there have been 54 reported uncommanded discharges of the P320,”
- According to the date and location of the reports, the model is responsible for firing by itself with a loaded chamber over the last 5 years in 22 different states and Washington, D.C.
- The firearm is a striker fired pistol
